Multinational Business Management
This seminar provides an understanding of the cultural, political, competitive, technological, legal, and ethical environment in which multinational firms operate. We review a range of tools and techniques of environmental analysis for use in assessing foreign and global conditions, opportunities, and threats.
We then focus on multinational corporate strategy, organization, and management. The seminar examines building of strategic capabilities, collaborating across boundaries, developing coordination and control, and managing activities and tasks, as well as challenges of worldwide functional management, geographic subsidiary management, and top-level headquarters management.
