Brief Description:      
This program focuses on the “big picture” business/organizational assessment, strategic focusing, reorganizing, refining the customer focused marketing strategy, and doing the financial planning that will position them for growth and prosperity. This program provides that opportunity, under the guidance of faculty experts and peers.

In this four-day program, participants will update their knowledge and skills, and understand how their organization can be improved, diversified, and positioned for the future. They will draw on each other’s experience during the program, and these relationships will form a support network lasting into the future.

The specific benefits of participating in the program are as follows:
    • An entrepreneurial development program tailored to the organization’s
                  needs
    • An opportunity to step back from the organization and plan future 
                  strategic direction
    • Self-diagnosis of the organization’s strengths and weaknesses
    • Updating of knowledge base to include cutting-edge 
                  business/organization thinking 

The 4-day program features a single case study for the program—their own organization. The outcome will be an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the organization, a strategic plan for achieving and sustaining competitive advantage within their chosen areas, and an explicit To-Do list that the participants have committed to implement.

Length of Course: 4-Day Seminar 
This program may be lengthened or shortened depending on the organization’s needs.

Minimum number of participants: 15 participants
Maximum number of participants: 40 participants

Support Materials: A training book will be provided containing copies of the course materials and readings. This requires use of the Office Assistant/Program Coordinator’s time.
