Objectives 
The learning objectives of the program are for the participant to: 
1.Understand commonly quoted financial terms
2.Understand and interpret financial statements
3.Understand the relationship of the customer's financial concerns to the customer's bottom line
4.Understand business purpose behind business combinations including joint ventures, merger and acquisitions.

Suggested Session Topics 
In consultation with your team, we will design and develop the actual exercises and materials to be taught and used in the sessions. We suggest the time and content of the sessions as follows: 

Tier 1 
An explanation of financial statements, the line items and important links for service, manufacturing and retail companies. This session includes a mixture of finance, financial ratios and basic understanding of financial statements. 

Tier 2 
A more in-depth explanation of the financial statements including common ratios and their interpretation. During this session, we will analyze profitability and cash flows. 

Tier 3 
This session will discuss the financial implications for business combinations & joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. 

Session Scheduling 
We recommend a one-day off-site session for each tier. 

Alternatively, we can offer a one-day on-site session for each tier. While this is less expensive, in our experience, there are greater distractions for the participants that can hinder learning. 

In either case, it amounts to three full-day sessions. If one-day sessions are not practical or feasible, then you might consider three, two-hour evening sessions for each tier. In this case, it amounts to nine, two-hour sessions. 

There is no limit to the number of participants. However, the most effective class consists of 15-25 participants
